Yoga is a form of physical and mental training concerned with bringing the body, mind, and emotions into harmony. It is an ancient discipline, believed to have been developed by sages in the Indian subcontinent over 5,000 years ago. Today it is practised by tens of millions of people around the world as a way to keep fit and relieve stress.
Our fun and accessible classes incorporate movement, breathwork and guided relaxation. You can expect playful sequences and lots of feel-good stretches to ease tension and create space in the shoulders, spine and hips.
We offer two formats of corporate yoga class: Desk Yoga and Mat Yoga. Our desk-based classes are ideal for smaller spaces and timeframes, while our mat-based classes provide a more complete and vigorous workout.
Mat Yoga involves a combination of standing, seated, kneeling and reclined exercises. In these classes, our experienced instructors teach you the principles of Hatha Yoga, the most commonly practised form of yoga.
Our classes are suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to seasoned yogis.
Desk Yoga is a form of yoga that you can easily practise without even leaving your workspace. The sequences are predominately chair-based, with many of the postures done seated, while some will be performed standing. As well as gentle movement and stretches, this class also includes introductory breathwork and mindfulness exercises.
No lycra needed – you can be wearing regular clothes for this, making it very easy to incorporate the class in the middle of the work day.
