What exactly is mindfulness?

In general, mindfulness encourages practitioners to embrace non-judgmental observation and acceptance of thoughts, emotions and sensations as they arise. Mindfulness can also be thought of as present-moment awareness, helping us to see things as they are and let go of anxiety. When practised regularly, these techniques help to counter stress, regulate our emotions and think more clearly.

Who is your mindfulness workshop for?

Mindfulness is for everyone! Our corporate mindfulness workshop, Essential Mindfulness, provides a simple and effective way of supporting your team’s wellbeing, by inviting them to take a break and switch off from their work.

What does your mindfulness workshop cover?

In our mindfulness workshop, we explore research-backed techniques derived from various methodologies to let go of stress and cultivate a calm and clear presence of mind. These may include breath awareness, Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR), body scanning, visualisation, somatic practices, sound healing, loving-kindness meditation, and gratitude meditation.

  • You’ll learn about what mindfulness is, how it developed, how it works, and how it serves us
  • You’ll know how to modify your practice to serve your goals (50-minute version)
  • You’ll learn some simple techniques and when best to use them according to the science, including:
    1. The technique that’s best for relaxation (50-minute version)
    2. The technique that’s best for boosting mood
    3. The technique that’s best for cultivating focus
