What to expect in a corporate sound bath session
A sound bath is a calming form of guided meditation where participants are immersed in soothing sounds produced by instruments like gongs, crystal bowls, and tuning forks. As your team lies down – we recommend blankets and sleep masks – they’ll experience deep relaxation while the sounds encourage a meditative, restorative state.
This practice is designed to reduce stress, ease tension, and promote mental clarity, making it an ideal remedy for the pressures of office life. Whether you’re in London or working remotely, sound baths are a flexible option that can be adapted to your team’s needs.
Where does sound healing come from?
The earliest documented use of therapeutic sound was over 40,000 years ago by Aboriginal tribes in Australia using the didgeridoo. The sounds were used to induce relaxation, help manage pain, and even assist with injury healing. For many centuries in South Asia and Tibet, traditional singing bowls made of metal alloy have been used as a healing modality, believed to have a powerful effect on our body’s energy system – what we think of today as our nervous system.
Far from being relegated to history books, this ancient wisdom is becoming recognised in the field of modern medicine. Today, scientists are studying how sound waves can be used to regrow bones!
What are the benefits of offering office sound baths?
Research suggests that sound therapy can lower levels of stress hormones, improve focus, and support better sleep, among myriad other benefits. There is promising evidence that even from the first session, participants experience reduced tension, fatigue, and negative mood.
Who can benefit from sound baths?
These sessions are a thoughtful way to help your team recharge, whether you’re looking to invest in your team’s mental health or recognise their hard work. We offer in-person sound baths at offices in London, as well as remote sessions, ensuring that all employees can benefit, no matter where they’re based.
Sound baths are a perfect introduction to meditation for newcomers to the practice. All you need to do is show up and allow the sounds to wash over you.

Frequently Asked Questions
ON-SITE CLASSES
How much space do we need?
For this experience, we recommend attendees lie down on yoga mats. You will ideally need about 1.5m x 2.2m of space per person.
If you are limited on space, we recommend our chair-based meditation classes, which can be easily practised at one’s desk or a conference room table.
What equipment do we need?
We recommend attendees lie down in a comfortable position – a yoga mat or folded blanket works well here. A blanket for extra warmth and a sleep mask are not strictly necessary but enhance the experience.
For one-off events, we offer affordable mat rental (OEKO-TEX® certified and 6-P Free). For the full studio experience, you can also rent blankets and lavender eye pillows from us.
Are your facilitators insured?
Yes, all of our facilitators are fully accredited by industry-leading credentialing bodies, and carry liability insurance for both virtual and on-site classes.
