Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is a form of guided relaxation to restore and refresh. The physical body drops into a state of profound rest, in between wakefulness and sleep. Meanwhile, the mind remains fully conscious throughout. During this practice, the nervous system is pacified and our minds quieten, inducing a deep relaxation response. A session will usually include breath awareness and a rotation of consciousness to calm the mind and release muscular tension.
