Working From Home Self-Care

These classes borrow elements from a blend of movement and self-care practices, including Myofascial Release techniques, breathwork, self-massage, mindfulness, and of course yoga. Many of the poses are seated and participants won’t require as much space to practice in. This class is unique to The Office Yoga Company and was developed specifically as a response to the demands of the newly remote working population. It can be practised in regular clothes and a mat isn’t necessary especially if practising at home, although we do recommend participants lay something on the floor to make reclined and kneeling poses more comfortable. We also suggest the use of blankets and cushions to get the most out of each session. The main benefits of this practice include increased body intelligence and awareness, reduced stress, and improved compassion towards oneself and others.
