Our corporate wellness workshops offer an experiential and contextual look at the ways in which yoga and other body-centred interventions can support our mental and physical wellbeing.

In contrast to our regular corporate classes, these sessions weave together theory and practice, and may include presentations as well as the opportunity for questions.

Our clients find that our wellness workshops are a great addition to a wellness day or an existing timetable of wellbeing classes.

We designed our Essential Posture workshop to address common computer-work challenges by targeting common patterns of tension and muscular imbalances. In this workshop, we guide you systematically through an assessment of your workstation, and your seated and standing postures. You will learn potential improvements to support your personal physical wellbeing and productivity. We will cover practical strategies for working comfortably from home or at the office, making your desk setup kinder to your body, in addition to exploring techniques derived from yoga and other movement traditions to help undo and minimise the effects of sitting at a desk.

No props are necessary, although we do recommend having a notebook and pen handy for taking notes.

Essential Posture workshop

In our Essential Stress Relief workshop, we cover a variety of accessible, body-focused interventions proven to relieve stress. After a discussion of definitions and the mechanisms behind how stress accumulates, we will cover a series of techniques. These practices evoke the relaxation response, calming the mind and dissolving patterns of habitual tension in the body. These may include Mindfulness, breath awareness, Restorative Yoga postures, dynamic rest, and self-massage (acupressure and Myofascial Release). Cultivating a direct, moment-to-moment experience with ourselves underpins these practices, and research shows that this is an impactful approach to balancing the nervous system and reducing anxiety symptoms.

No props are necessary, although we do recommend having a notebook and pen handy for taking notes. Some of our postures will be reclined, so you may also wish to bring along a blanket or towel if on hard floor and a cushion for comfort.

“I have also had the pleasure to attend webinars on stress management and good posture, which were highly informative. As opposed to many providers that tend to provide repetitive and self-evident information in such classes, these were densely informative, well-researched and super useful.”

How Many People Can Join?

Our meeting rooms can hold up to 20,000 participants.

Can You Offer Recordings?

Yes! We live-stream our virtual classes to create a communal experience for the attendees, however, our sessions can also be played back later at a time that suits them. Please note that we can only offer recordings for classes and workshops hosted by us on Microsoft Teams.

Classes at your office can also be live-streamed and recorded by the instructor, to benefit those working from home or other offices. Please get in touch to find out more.

What Equipment Do We Need?

Our desk-based classes require no equipment and can even be practised in regular clothes, allowing them to blend seamlessly into your colleagues’ workday.

Our mat-based classes require mats and nothing else. Those practising remotely at home do not strictly need a mat if practising on a rug or carpeted floor.

Are Your Teachers Insured?

Yes, all of our instructors are fully accredited by industry-leading credentialing bodies, and carry liability insurance for both virtual and on-site classes.

On-site Classes

How Much Space Do We Need?

For our mat-based classes, you will ideally need about 1.5m x 2.2m of space per person.

If you are limited on space, we recommend our desk-based classes, which involve a combination of seated and standing poses, and can be easily practised at one’s desk or a conference room table.

We can also host private group sessions at an indoor or outdoor venue near your office, for the full ‘studio’ experience. To find out more, please get in touch.

What Equipment Do We Need?

Our desk-based classes require no equipment and can even be practised in regular clothes, allowing them to blend seamlessly into your colleagues’ workday.

Our mat-based classes require mats and nothing else. If you commit to a block of classes, we can provide up to 12 mats free of charge for your office, provided you have somewhere to store them. If you’re interested in purchasing a set we can also recommend you some options for your budget. Those practising remotely at home do not strictly need a mat if practising on a rug or carpeted floor.
