How to Book Virtual Corporate Yoga Classes


In these unprecedented times, a lot more businesses are looking for new ways to reengage their staff as they work from home. We believe that virtual wellbeing classes offer an impactful and cost effective way of doing so while also being incredibly straightforward to implement.

Over the years of working with dozens of companies like yours, we’ve refined our bookings process to make it as hassle free as possible while making sure that nothing important gets left out. Let us walk you through the steps

Step One: Gauge Interest
Is there any appetite for wellbeing classes at your company? Ask for a show of (virtual!) hands in an all-staff meeting, or float the idea in a newsletter to get a general idea. You could collect your responses via SurveyMonkey or Google Forms, for example. Has anything similar been offered at your company previously, and how was it received? These are all great questions to ask before you start your research and will help you in the next step…

Step Two: Choose your Classes
Is this a one-off occurrence, a short series of classes, or an ongoing weekly event? And what activity are you interested in booking? At The Office Yoga Company, we offer pilates, mindfulness and several types of yoga. Step Three: Build your Case
Getting the buy-in of key stakeholders early on in the process will lower the chance of hitting a roadblock further down the line. It’s vital to establish whether there is budget that could be granted, and by making a solid case that demonstrates ROI and alignment with your company’s values, you’ll be well placed to tackle any objections that might arise.

At this stage in the process you are welcome to enlist us to help build out your proposal. We can provide examples of our work, testimonials, and slide decks describing the classes along with the benefits of each.


Step Four: Book your classes
Let us know which dates you had in mind and we will match you with one of our handpicked teachers. All of our teachers have a minimum of two years’ experience, are certified by prominent accreditation bodies and are fully insured.

Once the dates have been set you can promote the events to your staff to create awareness and build interest. We’ve streamlined the process for our clients by providing the invite links and accompanying text, including instructions for joining, a description of what to expect, and useful tips for getting the most out of the class. We also provide liability waivers and post-class surveys for measuring feedback.

Step Five: Enjoy your classes
We use Microsoft Teams to host our classes because of how well it integrates with industry standard Microsoft Outlook. However, if you have a web conferencing software you prefer to use at your company, let us know and we’d be happy to accommodate you. Microsoft Teams is free to use, requiring no apps to download and no need to create an account, although you can do both!

What if I can’t make the scheduled start time?
We stream our classes live to create a communal experience for our attendees, however, our sessions can also be played back later at a time that suits you.

If you’re running a few minutes late, you can still join the session via the same link.

Will my camera be on?
It’s up to you whether you would like your camera on microphone to be enabled. You have the option to switch them off if preferred.

How many people can join?
The limit imposed by the software we use is 80 participants. For larger groups, please get in touch with your requirements.

What if we need to cancel?
Cancellations/reschedules may be made with no charge as long as at least 24 hours' notice is given.

How much will it cost?
Our prices start from just £60 a session. Rates are calculated based on length of the class(es) rather than the number of participants.
